Emirates 24/7 News: Happiness Centre at the Latifa Hospital

The newly established ‘Happiness Centre’ at the Latifa Hospital in Dubai has started receiving customers aimed to achieve their satisfaction and happiness by simplifying a number of services at one-stop destination.

The centre was inaugurated yesterday by Humaid Al Qatami, Chairman of the Board and Director General of Dubai Health Authority, DHA.

The services provided at the Happiness Center include issuing of birth certificates, health cards, medical reports, appointment registration and booking, pharmaceutical services and registration of newborns in collaboration with the Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs.

Al Qatami, along with Major General Mohammad Al Marri, Director General of Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs, toured the new center, which has the capacity to cater 400 customers a day.

“The concept of happiness that is adopted by UAE and Dubai in specific represents one of the primary performance indicators of DHA. To achieve customer satisfaction and happiness DHA has been developing its facilities, staff capabilities and services,” Al Qatami.Al Qatami thanked the Directorate of Residency and Foreign Affairs for allocating a unit within the center to register newborns making it DHA’s strategic partner in achieving customer satisfaction and happiness.

“The unit reflects the strong relations and partnerships between the authority and other concerned organisations to fulfil Dubai’s future goals,” said Al Qatami.

Dr. Mona Tahlak, CEO of Latifa Hospital said the center is considered one of the most advanced facilities as it is being run by experienced staff that has been trained to deal with customers. She added that it is also equipped with the latest technology to complete the procedures in the fastest period possible.
